Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ryo Sugiyama) held the '18th MGH AWARD' ceremony on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Tsunashima Mitsui Club.
The 'MGH AWARD' is an annual recognition program held every June to honor outstanding achievements and contributions made by staff members and partner companies involved in operations and management across the company's hotels nationwide and at headquarters. In its 18th year, this year's ceremony recognized 59 individual awardees, 15 teams, and 7 partner companies. By sharing daily efforts and accomplishments, participants celebrate each other's successes and further elevate hospitality standards.

The awards are structured across multiple categories, each recognizing excellence from different perspectives:
Best Staff Award
Awarded to 55 individuals who demonstrated exceptional performance in guest hospitality, service quality improvement, operational enhancements, and team contributions. Their achievements spanned diverse areas, from guest experience to business performance.
Happy Card Grand Prize
Five recipients were selected—individuals and teams combined. From 111 Happy Cards submitted last year, the most memorable and heartwarming guest stories were chosen. During the ceremony, the selection rationale for each card was read aloud, deeply moving the audience with touching stories.
※ The Happy Card is one of the recognition programs designed to highlight outstanding actions and initiatives. Supervisors nominate staff based on exemplary behaviors, such as guest feedback, and the President and CEO presents the award.
THE BEST HOTEL
The 'Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier' received this top honor, awarded as the overall best among all categories. General Manager Yoshihara commented, 'I am proud that the collective efforts of our opening team and partner companies have culminated in this highest honor among 40 hotels.'
In total, nine awards were presented during the MGH AWARD ceremony.
