meviy (service provided by MISUMI Group Inc.), an AI platform for machine part procurement, will launch the "Every Step Creates the Future #August8thIsMeviyDay" project from July 8, 2026, to August 28, 2026.

This project aims to communicate the changes and value generated when designers and developers connect the time saved through improved operational efficiency to their core work and new challenges. To coincide with the special "Meviy Day" on August 8, 2026 (Reiwa 8), when the number "8" aligns, we will deliver the changes occurring in the manufacturing field through real stories.

Approximately 50% of people in manufacturing are unable to engage in creative activities due to daily cumbersome tasks.

In the manufacturing industry, in addition to labor shortages and skill transfer challenges due to an aging population, there are demands to respond to the increasing sophistication and complexity of design and procurement operations, leading to a constant state of being overwhelmed by daily tasks. However, on the other hand, processes such as drawing creation and part procurement require a significant amount of time, and inefficiencies stemming from traditional business processes have not been sufficiently improved.

As a result, it is evident that there is insufficient time secured for new challenges and creative activities that should ideally be prioritized.
