Protecting Temple Architecture from Earthquakes

Misawa Homes Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo / President: Katsuyuki Chihara), a think tank of the Misawa Home Group, conducts research and studies on various themes such as "disaster prevention, structure, materials, and durability technology," "environment and energy technology," "people, family, and community development," and "housing culture and lifestyle design." The results of these surveys and research are regularly published as the Misawa Homes Research Institute Report (commonly known as M-Repo).

Based on the knowledge and technologies gained from these research results, the Misawa Home Group is developing new products and solutions.
