For those aspiring to become MBSR Teachers — International standard training in Japanese

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979, which has since been widely adopted in medical, educational, and corporate settings worldwide. Along with the accumulation of scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness, the need for training high-quality MBSR teachers is also growing.

International Mindfulness Center JAPAN (hereafter IMCJ, operated by Kuu Inc.), in collaboration with the Institute for Mindfulness-Based Approaches (IMA) in Germany, conducts an MBSR teacher training program in Japan that complies with international certification standards. Prior to the start of the 7th cohort scheduled for Autumn 2026, we will hold a free orientation for those considering participating in the program.
