Milbon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President and CEO: Hidenori Sakashita, hereinafter "Milbon"), a manufacturer of hair care and cosmetic products for beauty salons, is pleased to announce the opening of its "Human Resources Development Center" (Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) as a new educational hub supporting the learning and growth of all Milbon Group employees, which began full-scale operations in April 2026.
Background of the Establishment of the Human Resources Development Center
At Milbon, we consider human resources to be the most critical capital essential for management and sustainable growth. Since the opening of the training center in Miyakojima-ku, Osaka in 1984*, we have continually made generous investments in "people", centered on a nine-month training program for new employees.
With business expansion and the growing importance of global human resource development, there was a need to construct an educational environment capable of accommodating a broader range of learning. Consequently, we closed the old center and opened a new training facility three times its size.
The Human Resources Development Center saw its training building completed in October 2025 and its employee dormitory in March 2026, with full-scale operations commencing in April of the same year upon the completion of both facilities.
This center functions as an educational base where all group employees, including new hires, can continue to learn. Additionally, it can be utilized for training, seminars, and photo shoots for partner beauty salons, providing an environment that fosters diverse learning and interactions.
*Relocated to Joto-ku, Osaka in 1991.
