MINISFORUM and Intel Announce the Next Chapter of Agent NAS

MINISFORUM and Intel officially held a joint launch event in Xiamen, themed "Activating Intelligent Agents, Opening a New Chapter in Edge Computing." MINISFORUM announced two new agent NAS devices, the "All-Flash S5" and the 7-bay "All-Flash S7," equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Intel Core Series 3 processors.

MINISFORUM's all-flash NAS "S5" redefines the concept of agent NAS. It features five M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x1 SSD slots, achieving an all-flash configuration that eliminates the noise, vibration, and high standby power consumption common with HDD-based systems. It is ideal for users seeking complete silence and a sophisticated appearance.

Designed to maximize the performance of SSD storage within a compact and refined enclosure, the S5 is equipped with one 10GbE RJ45 port, one 2.5GbE RJ45 port, two USB4 40Gbps ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and an AC power input terminal.

MinisOpenClaw is an AI agent developed by MINISFORUM that can be installed with one click to utilize AI assistant functions. It features intelligent capabilities such as AI-powered semantic photo search, allowing users to make requests like "Find my photos taken at the beach."

At this event, a new agent NAS configuration based on the MINISFORUM MS-03 workstation platform will also be unveiled. This is a 7-bay all-flash NAS for local AI computing and high-performance storage workloads.

It supports up to seven NVMe SSDs, providing powerful storage expandability and high-speed connectivity, offering all-flash high-performance storage. For networking, it features dual 10G SFP+ fiber ports, one 10G RJ45 port, one 2.5G RJ45 port, and two USB4 40Gbps ports, providing a flexible and enterprise-ready configuration that enables high-speed data transfer and low-latency access for a wide range of users, including home lab enthusiasts and core fans. The S7 also features an LED status display, allowing users to check system status and storage operation at a glance.
