Mirabo Launches Maternal and Child Health DX "mila-e" Mother and Child Handbook App and Online Reservation Service in Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture

Mirabo Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuya Tanikawa; hereinafter "Mirabo"), a developer of services for local governments, has decided to introduce the maternal and child handbook app "mila-e Oyako Techo" and the online reservation service "mila-e Yoyaku" in Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Sequential operation began in June 2026.

Background of Provision and Introduction of "mila-e Oyako Techo" and "mila-e Yoyaku"

In Kanoya City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Mirabo has been providing "Kosodate Support App Kanoya Iku Memo." (hereinafter "Old App"), based on the maternal and child handbook app developed and provided by Mirabo since 2023, and has been engaged in child-rearing support initiatives for a long time.

To further enhance "supportive counseling" that accompanies child-rearing families, the base maternal and child handbook app has been renewed to "mila-e Oyako Techo" and will be newly provided as "Kanoya Iku Memo.". Additionally, as a functional expansion, the online reservation service "mila-e Yoyaku" has been newly introduced.

"mila-e Oyako Techo" will enable "Myna Portal Linkage" as a new feature. Previously, after vaccinations, users had to manually input vaccination records such as the date of vaccination into the maternal and child handbook app. However, from now on, vaccination records can be displayed on the maternal and child handbook app side without manual input.

Furthermore, by linking "mila-e Oyako Techo" and "mila-e Yoyaku," users can receive notifications and child-rearing information from the local government via push notifications and seamlessly transition to online reservations for child-rearing events. By completing information acquisition and reservation procedures on a smartphone, the hassle of reservations via phone or email can be eliminated, reducing the burden on child-rearing families.

Going forward, we will continue to support the creation of a community where people can raise children more conveniently and with peace of mind than ever before, and strengthen the sustainable support system utilizing ICT.

Features include a "Mail Distribution/Push Notification Function" to receive timely announcements from Kanoya City according to the baby's age, a "Vaccination Scheduler" to prevent missed vaccinations or incorrect vaccination intervals, and an "Electronic Maternal and Child Health Handbook Function" to record maternal and child handbook contents such as growth graphs and infant health checkup records on a My Page.
