Mi-Labo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazuya Tanigawa), a developer of services for local governments, has launched the maternal and child health app 'mila-e Oyako Techo' in Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture, as the 'Tsukubamirai City Parenting Handbook' starting May 18, 2026.
### Background of Provision Since 2024, Tsukubamirai City has utilized various digital services from Mi-Labo, including a previous version of the parenting app, online booking services (mila-e Yoyaku), and digital medical checkup questionnaires (mila-e Kenshin). To further enhance its 'accompaniment-style counseling support' for families, the city has upgraded the base app to 'mila-e Oyako Techo'.
### Key New Features - **Myna Portal Integration:** For the first time, vaccination records can be automatically synced via the national Myna Portal. - **Medical Checkup Integration:** Integration with 'mila-e Kenshin' allows checkup records to be displayed automatically. - **Manual Entry Free:** Previously, users had to manually input records after appointments. Now, the app displays this information automatically without manual intervention.
### Existing Features Continued - **Push Notifications:** Timely updates from the city tailored to the child's age. - **Vaccination Scheduler:** A patented feature to prevent missed doses or interval errors. - **Growth Graphs:** Electronic records of child growth and medical history.
### Future Expansion Tsukubamirai City plans to expand its digital healthcare services within FY2026, including digital questionnaires for dental checkups for children aged 2 years and 3 months, as well as general checkups for 3 and 5-year-olds. The city aims to strengthen its sustainable support system through ICT.
### How to Use - **App Version:** Available for download on the App Store and Google Play. - **Browser Version:** Accessible via [https://oyako-techo.jp/](https://oyako-techo.jp/) - **Data Migration:** Current users of the old app can easily migrate their data online following instructions on the old app's top page.
