Annual Event 'Ardbeg Day 2026' to be Held from June 12 (Fri) to 14 (Sun), Toasting with Ardbeg Fans Worldwide - Tickets Go on Sale May 11 (Mon)

Ardbeg, the whisky brand from the Isle of Islay, Scotland, handled by MHD Moët Hennessy Diageo K.K. (Kanda Jinbocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), will host 'Ardbeg Day 2026,' a special event for Ardbeg fans in Japan to gather and celebrate, for three days from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14, 2026. Following this, event tickets will go on sale starting Monday, May 11.

'Ardbeg Day' originated from a whisky festival held annually on the Isle of Islay, Scotland, from late May to early June. Since 2012, it has expanded as an event celebrated simultaneously in various countries worldwide, becoming a cherished day for Ardbeg fans globally, including in Japan. The passionate gathering of Ardbeg fans, the 'Ardbeg Committee,' currently boasts over 180,000 members in more than 130 countries worldwide, with over 60,000 members supported in Japan.

The theme for this year's 'Ardbeg Day 2026' is 'La Dolce Islay – Life is Sweet. And very Smoky.' Azabudai Hills, the venue, will feature a vibrant and open space reminiscent of Southern Italy. The venue, based on warm orange colors, will have a dance floor where visitors can freely enjoy themselves. Live music by an ensemble blending Sicilian street music with Scottish Celtic music will adorn the venue. Enjoy a relaxed time with music, holding the 'Ardbeg Dolce,' a limited edition bottle for 'Ardbeg Day 2026.'

Inside the venue, 'The Dolce Bar' will welcome guest bartenders daily, offering original cocktails made with 'Ardbeg 10 Year Old.' Additionally, food pairings inspired by Southern Italian culinary culture, such as the specially smoked pizza 'PEAT-ZZA,' will be available to enhance the enjoyment of Ardbeg's flavors. In an open and free atmosphere, visitors can wander around the venue, enjoying whisky and food, and engaging in natural conversations and new encounters.

Furthermore, all visitors will receive a message card at the reception. Some of the submitted messages will be randomly read aloud at the venue by Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distilling and Whisky Creation, or Brand Ambassador Robert Stockwell. Please share your heartfelt 'Ardbeg love.'
