Moomin Monogatari Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, President: Kiyoshi Mochizuki) is pleased to announce that "Metsä (Moominvalley Park and Metsä Village)" welcomed its 6 millionth visitor on July 4, 2026.

To express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us, we will be offering a 500 yen gift ticket valid for use within the park to all guests who enter "Moominvalley Park" during a special period from July 11, 2026 (Sat) to July 24, 2026 (Fri).

Furthermore, each store in "Metsä Village," our Nordic lifestyle experience facility, will be holding a special campaign to commemorate the 6 million visitor milestone. During this period, Nordic design goods and carefully selected food items will be offered at special prices.

Metsä Village opened on November 9, 2018, and Moominvalley Park opened on March 16, 2019. Both facilities are celebrating their 7th anniversary since opening.

We are deeply honored to have welcomed 6 million guests to "Metsä," a place rich in nature that means "forest" in Finnish. We sincerely thank you for your immense kindness and support over the past seven years since our opening in 2018.

Last year, "Hyper Museum Hanno" opened in Metsä Village, and "Terrace on the Lake" opened in Moominvalley Park. This spring, "Emma's Theater" was renovated and reopened as an all-weather theater.

Furthermore, in February of this year, Metsä Village and Moominvalley Park became the first theme park in Japan to receive "Phase Free" certification for products and services useful in both everyday and emergency situations. At Metsä, we aim to provide a comfortable space, enjoyable experiences, and a sense of security, while our staff works together to help you experience the "space" in your mind that comes from immersing yourself in rich nature and feeling enveloped in happiness.

In February 2026, Metsä (Metsä Village and Moominvalley Park) obtained "Phase Free Certification," which certifies products and services designed to be useful in both everyday and emergency situations.

This is the first theme park in Japan to achieve Phase Free Certification. Under the concept of "living with space," we provide comfortable spaces and experiences while contributing to regional safety through self-generation facilities and water storage systems.
