Discover, Learn, and Experience the Appeal of Tourism Careers!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Tourism Foundation (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) are implementing the 'Tourism Industry Attractiveness Support Project' to communicate the rewards and appeal of tourism careers, through website launches, events, workplace visits, and job experience programs.

Now, participants are being recruited for the 'Tourism Industry Discovery Fair TOKYO 2026' and the 'Workplace Observation Program,' which offers direct interaction with staff working in tourism fields.

1. Learn About Tourism Careers!

An event targeting students and job seekers interested in the tourism industry, designed to showcase the rewards and appeal of tourism-related jobs.

① Keynote Speech: 13:10–13:40 (30 minutes)

Theme: 'The Future of the Tourism Industry'

Speaker: Seiichi Suzuki

Executive Managing Director, Japan Travel Corp.

Head of Inbound & Global Business Division

Mr. Suzuki will deliver insights from a leading tourism company’s perspective on the industry’s potential and future outlook.

② Talk Show: 14:00–14:30 (30 minutes)

Theme: 'Captivated by the Power of Tourism: The World of Tourism and Its Expanding Future'

Speaker: Mayuko Kawai (Model and Actress)

Born in New York, USA, Ms. Kawai has appeared in numerous variety and information programs. Drawing from her experiences filming in various global locations, she will discuss the future of the tourism industry.

③ Networking Corner and Mini Stage with Tourism-Related Companies

Five tourism-related companies will participate, offering booths where attendees can directly learn about job satisfaction and career insights.

- Networking Corner: 'Tourism Job Exchange Lab – Hear the Honest Voices of Workers'

– A space to casually hear authentic stories from employees working on the front lines.

- Mini Stage: 'The Appeal of Working in Tourism? Discover Work Styles and Career Possibilities That Suit You'

– Panel discussion featuring professionals actively working in the tourism industry.

Workplace Observation Program

A program offering frontline observation of the tourism industry, allowing direct conversations with staff about their job satisfaction and daily responsibilities.

This time, we are offering a program to visit Haneda Airport.

We welcome participation from students and job seekers in Tokyo who are interested in tourism careers.
