Key Remarks (Governor Koike)
"As the population declines and society and industries undergo major changes, including the advent of AI, it is extremely important to create an environment where women can thrive. For Tokyo's sustainable growth, it is essential to leverage the power of women, who make up half of the citizens. We want to create an environment where each individual can achieve self-realization. Taking the enforcement of the Women's Empowerment Promotion Ordinance as an opportunity, we want to move society forward not only with women but also with men working together, and to make the concrete initiatives introduced today widely shared and meaningful, rather than just ending with 'the ordinance has been enacted.'"
