Tokyo Global Passport Study Abroad Support Program for University Students and Others to Begin Accepting Applications for New First-Year University Students in April!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is implementing the "Tokyo Global Passport" study abroad support program for university students and others.

Applications for the medium-to-long-term courses targeting new first-year university students entering universities in April of this year will begin on April 8th, and applications for the short-term course (summer study abroad) will begin on April 27th.

Furthermore, for the short-term course (summer study abroad), in response to feedback from universities, we will also accept applications from students in other academic years besides new first-year students, who have already completed their application period, to align with the timing when students find it easier to apply for short-term study abroad.

1. Program Overview

We provide partial support for the expenses required for overseas study at educational institutions in foreign countries and regions that accept dispatched students, for those enrolled in universities and other institutions in Japan.
