Anime x Japanese Culture Event, Mobilizing 100,000 People in India, Lands in Jakarta! "Merah! Merah! Anime Japan!!" to be Held on May 30 & 31, 2026

The "Merah! Merah! Anime Japan!!" Executive Committee will hold "Merah! Merah! Anime Japan!!" at Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia, for two days on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, 2026.

This event is born as a sister event to "Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!!", which mobilized a total of 100,000 people over two occasions in India, and makes its first appearance in Jakarta. It is an event where attendees can experience all aspects of authentic Japan, from entertainment, industry, food, and tourism, using anime as an entry point.

With the official support of both the Japanese and Indonesian governments, the event will offer a wide range of content, including anime and manga related exhibitions, screenings, workshops, concerts by anime song singers, cosplay stages, and booth exhibitions by Japanese companies and organizations. Admission is free.

Participating artists, exhibiting companies/IPs, and screening works will be announced sequentially in the future.
