Large-scale XR facility "IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya" Nears 50,000 Cumulative Visitors! Commemorative Sticker Distribution and New Content Addition Decided! <Aichi>

Meitetsu Impress Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Katsuhiko Sumi) and CinemaLeap Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tetsuya Ohashi) jointly operate the large-scale XR* entertainment facility "IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya." To commemorate the upcoming achievement of 50,000 cumulative visitors since its opening on January 23, 2026, commemorative stickers will be distributed starting Saturday, May 16, 2026. Furthermore, around July of this year, the release of a new content, "Tonight with the Impressionists Paris 1874 -A Night with Impressionist Painters-", which is the second work following "Horizon of Khufu," has been decided. After its release, visitors will be able to choose which content to experience from the two works.

Regarding the distribution of "Commemorative Stickers for Achieving 50,000 Cumulative Visitors"

As a token of gratitude to customers who have experienced "Horizon of Khufu," limited edition commemorative stickers will be distributed.

Regarding the new content "Tonight with the Impressionists Paris 1874 -A Night with Impressionist Painters-"

"Tonight with the Impressionists Paris 1874 -A Night with Impressionist Painters-" is an XR film jointly produced by the world-renowned French museum Musée d'Orsay, French XR production studios Excurio and GEDEON Experiences, and premiered globally at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris on March 26, 2024. This work is a program that allows visitors to re-experience the passion and creative journey of masters such as Monet and Renoir, set in the era of the "First Impressionist Exhibition" held in Paris in 1874, using the latest immersive technology.

Famous painters appearing in the work include Yuki Kaji (as Claude Monet), Daisuke Namikawa (as Paul Cézanne), Takehito Koyasu (as Edgar Degas), and other luxurious voice actors, creating an immersive feeling as if one has wandered into the venue of the "First Impressionist Exhibition." (*Details on the release date and ticket sales will be announced again around June.)

Even after the release of the second work, the first work "Horizon of Khufu," which allows visitors to experience ancient Egypt 4,500 years ago beyond time and space, will continue to be available.

"IMMERSIVE JOURNEY Nagoya" is a large-scale XR entertainment facility that opened in January 2026 as the second location in Japan after Yokohama. Visitors wear head-mounted displays and freely walk around a vast space, enjoying an immersive experience as if traveling to another world. Up to 4 people can experience it simultaneously in a group, enjoying popular XR content with an unprecedented sense of scale that transcends the constraints of time and place.
