'Meiji Hohoemi' is an infant formula designed to evolve based on breast milk, aiming for healthy infant development. Meiji continues its 'Breast Milk Science' initiative, refining each component of powdered milk to closely resemble breast milk and support the growth of breastfed babies. To date, the company has conducted a 'Breast Milk Survey' analyzing breast milk from over 6,000 mothers, and a 'Growth Survey' tracking the development of more than 200,000 babies who were raised exclusively on 'Meiji Hohoemi' over the past 50 years.

The product lineup includes the can-type 'Meiji Hohoemi,' the mess-free, no-measuring-needed cube-type 'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Cube,' the ready-to-use liquid-type 'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk' that only needs to be poured into a bottle, and the 'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk Attachment,' which allows direct feeding from the can.

The diverse product range, designed to support daily feeding as well as situations such as outings, disasters, and emergencies, was highly evaluated, leading to this award.

Notably, the company previously won the 1st 'Japan Parenting Support Grand Prize' in 2020 for 'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk.' This latest award reaffirms the social recognition of the 'Meiji Hohoemi' brand's role in supporting parenting.

About the Japan Parenting Support Grand Prize

It evaluates products and services that have provided real, practical value to parents, grandparents, and caregivers, with the goal of encouraging the development of more supportive parenting solutions.

The award covers eight categories, based on the three core areas of 'Clothing,' 'Food,' and 'Housing' for parenting households, plus 'Daily Goods,' 'Goods,' 'Services/Applications,' 'Home Appliances/Automobiles,' and 'Municipalities/Projects.'

Selection begins with an initial screening by parent employees from child-rearing support companies, based on application documents, followed by a final decision through a selection committee meeting by the Japan Child-Rearing Support Association.

<Statement from the Representative>

'We are deeply honored that 'Meiji Hohoemi' has been selected. Our product development and improvements are driven not only by the goal of supporting babies' healthy growth but also by the desire to reduce parenting burdens for families. We conduct our Breast Milk Survey with the cooperation of 6,000 mothers nationwide to refine each component to be closer to breast milk. Additionally, we have conducted a Growth Survey for over 50 years, tracking the development of more than 200,000 babies who were raised on our product. <Introducing the Award-Winning Products>

'Meiji Hohoemi'

'Meiji Hohoemi' is a can-type powdered infant formula designed for ease of use in opening, closing, and measuring. The brand continues to evolve based on breast milk, aiming for healthy infant development through its 'Breast Milk Science' initiative, which refines each component to resemble breast milk and support the growth of breastfed babies. As part of this effort, Meiji has conducted the 'Breast Milk Survey,' analyzing breast milk from over 6,000 mothers. Additionally, the company has conducted the 'Growth Survey' for over 50 years, tracking the development of more than 200,000 babies raised on 'Meiji Hohoemi.'

'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Cube'

'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Cube' is the industry's first cube-type powdered milk※1, made by solidifying 'Meiji Hohoemi' without adding any additives. It eliminates the need for spoon measuring, allowing anyone, anywhere, and at any time to easily and accurately prepare milk. The product can also be stored long-term if the pouch remains unopened.

'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk'

'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk' is a liquid formula launched in March 2019, now widely used by households and municipalities. Since no mixing is required, it can be used as a breast milk alternative during outings, when you don't want to keep the baby waiting, or as emergency preparedness for disasters. By attaching the separately sold 'Meiji Hohoemi Rakuraku Milk Attachment,' feeding is possible directly from the can. The shelf life is 18 months from the manufacturing date (extended to 24 months—the longest in Japan※2—for products manufactured from September 2026 onward), allowing for long-term storage.
