MCD Three Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masao Iida, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") will begin offering a new feature, "Green Site AI Check (tentative name)" *2, which utilizes AI technology to significantly improve the efficiency of document verification work within its labor safety document creation and management service for the construction industry, "Green Site," during fiscal year 2026. Prior to the full release of this feature, Taisei Corporation (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yoshiro Aikawa, hereinafter referred to as "Taisei Corporation") will begin a pilot program in April 2026.

Background of Development

In the construction industry, while the use of Green Site has improved operational efficiency through the digitization of labor safety document (commonly known as "Green Files") creation and management, the work of confirming details on documents submitted by subcontractors and requesting corrections for errors or missing attachments by the general contractor's staff remains a significant burden. This document verification process consumes a great deal of time and effort, and also incurs costs for outsourcing to external BPO*3 service providers, posing major challenges in terms of productivity and cost.

Therefore, the Company embarked on the development of this feature to solve these issues by leveraging its own advanced AI technology.

Overview of "Green Site AI Check"

"Green Site AI Check" is a function that automatically verifies documents submitted by subcontractors using Green Site. It checks for the presence of attached documents such as purchase orders and acceptance notices, as well as the content written within those documents. If any discrepancies are found, it automatically sends an email requesting correction.

Expected Effects

It is estimated that the introduction of this feature can reduce the total work time for document verification by general contractors by up to 85%. This will allow general contractors' staff to focus on higher value-added tasks. Furthermore, subcontractors will receive feedback on any discrepancies in their submitted documents as early as the next day, enabling prompt corrective action.

Pilot Use by Taisei Corporation

This feature will be used in advance by Taisei Corporation starting in April 2026 to verify its effectiveness. The Company will further improve quality based on the feedback received from this verification.

Comment from Koji Nakatani, General Manager, DX Promotion Department, Architectural Headquarters, Taisei Corporation

Our company introduced Green Site in 2005 and has been working to improve the accuracy of construction site management ledgers and reduce the workload for both subcontractors and our employees. On the other hand, the confirmation and correction of submitted documents still heavily relies on manual labor, and further productivity improvement remains a challenge.

We have received a proposal from MCD Three Co., Ltd. for a new AI-powered solution and have decided to cooperate with the pilot program, expecting it to contribute to solving these issues. Through this initiative, we aim to achieve both efficiency and quality assurance in document work by integrating the company's advanced AI technology with the knowledge and know-how we have cultivated on construction sites.

Furthermore, we expect this feature to promote the advancement and standardization of business processes across the entire construction industry, contributing to improved productivity and work style reform for the industry as a whole.

Future Outlook

The Company will continue to contribute to improving productivity and promoting work style reform in construction sites by utilizing AI and digital technologies in services such as "Green Site." Guided by our mission to "Stay close to industry and continue to face societal challenges," we will vigorously promote DX for the entire construction industry.
