Mitsui Bussan Urban Development Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nobu Tsuchihara) is pleased to announce that construction has commenced in April 2026 for the new office building "(Tentative Name) Nishi-Shinbashi 2-chome Office Project," currently under development in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

The project site is located in an area that has long flourished as a business district, being a 7-minute walk from Shinbashi Station and a 5-minute walk from Toranomon Station, and close to government offices. In recent years, the Toranomon area has seen large-scale redevelopments completed, indicating ongoing urban regeneration. The building will feature office space, communication space, and meeting rooms on standard floors of approximately 52 tsubo (approx. 172 sqm). The north side of the building, facing the main road, will be equipped with full balconies, offering a refreshing environment for workers. The plan is to lease all 10 floors as one-tenant-per-floor setup offices. Additionally, the first floor will house a restaurant of approximately 20 tsubo (approx. 66 sqm), contributing to the further revitalization of Karasumori Street, which connects the lively Shinbashi Station area to the sophisticated Toranomon area, and the wider district.
