Maxell, Ltd. (hereinafter 'Maxell') will sponsor 'FM802 MEET THE WORLD BEAT 2026,' scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the 'Momijigawa Lawn Plaza' in the Expo Commemoration Park Natural Cultural Garden in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture. This marks Maxell's fifth time sponsoring the event.

'FM802 MEET THE WORLD BEAT' is an outdoor music event that FM802, a popular Osaka radio station, has been holding since 1990. This year, the venue has been expanded, and a new 'Feelin’ Area' has been established, allowing enjoyment of the event with live sound and monitors. Maxell is strengthening its branding targeting young people and, as part of this initiative, will engage with attendees through this event. At the Maxell booth on the day, under the theme 'WRITE THE WORLD BEAT by Maxell,' a message board will be set up for visitors to write their 'thoughts' for the performing artists. These messages will be delivered directly to the artists after the event concludes.
