Under the corporate vision of "making life and work around the world easier and more enjoyable," MAX Co., Ltd. (Securities Code: 6454)—a company that creates products and services tailored to diverse needs by staying close to its customers—began a hanging strap advertising campaign on various Toei Subway lines in March 2026. The ads will be displayed for a period of one year.

Background of the Staple Box Hanging Strap Advertising

While MAX is strongly associated with its "green-themed staple packaging" within its product lineup, the company operates in a wide range of fields, extending beyond stationery and office equipment to include construction tools such as nailers and rebar tying tools, as well as home environment equipment like bathroom heaters.

This advertising campaign will run for one year on four Toei Subway lines, which are heavily used by commuters and students. The goal is to leverage the familiar image of our staple boxes to inform the public that MAX is a company with a broad business portfolio. By exposing passengers to hanging strap ads modeled after the packaging they see in offices and schools, we aim to spark interest in our company and improve corporate recognition.

The ads are displayed on two cars of one train set on each of the Toei Asakusa, Mita, Shinjuku, and Oedo lines (four cars on the Shinjuku line).

Corporate Overview

Founded in 1942 as an aircraft parts manufacturer, our company has leveraged the press and wire processing technologies cultivated there to expand into various fields. This includes the first domestically produced stapler, as well as auto-staplers, nailers, rebar tying tools, horticultural tying tools, and home environment equipment. Currently, our rebar tying tool business is driving our growth.

Under our corporate vision of "making life and work around the world easier and more enjoyable," we respond to customer needs through a thorough commitment to the field and the customer. By capturing changes in society and creating and popularizing products that did not previously exist, we generate new markets and establish ourselves as a "Number One" and "Only One" company.
