The popular summer staple 'Character Shaved Ice' from Sesame Street Market returns this year with even more excitement!

This year, in addition to the seven beloved characters — Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Oscar, Abby, Ernie, and Bert — a new character, 'Rainbow,' joins the lineup. All eight shaved ice creations will bring vibrant energy to the arrival of summer.

The shaved ice uses premium ice made from Shinshu deep natural water, known for its purity and smooth melt-in-the-mouth texture. To highlight each character’s unique charm, syrups made from natural ingredients are paired with fresh fruits, cream, ice cream, and sherbet. Additional elements like red beans, gyūhi (soft mochi), and coconut add delightful accents in flavor and texture.

Not only does this year welcome the new 'Rainbow' flavor, but all character flavors have also been refreshed in both taste and visual design to better showcase each character’s personality. New gourmet-style offerings include Ernie’s 'Chestnut & Hojicha' and Bert’s 'Pudding,' delivering dessert-like indulgence. With eye-catching visuals perfect for photos and authentic, ingredient-focused flavors, this is a special summer-only menu that delivers both visual and culinary satisfaction.

During the campaign period, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, and Rainbow will be available throughout, while Oscar, Abby, Ernie, and Bert will appear as limited-time offerings in sequence. A long-running lineup ensures enjoyment from summer through early autumn.
