Maruyanagi Oguraya Co., Ltd. (Higashinada-ku, Kobe; President: Yuji Yanamoto), a manufacturer of steamed beans, simmered beans, and tsukudani, will exhibit at the first-ever 'CHONMAGE JAPAN EXPO,' a festival to promote Japanese culture, held at Sumadera Temple in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, on June 7, 2026 (Sunday). This event merges traditional Japanese culture with contemporary culture to project Japanese culture to the world. Maruyanagi will enliven the event at its booth through 'food,' specifically beans and tsukudani, which are traditional Japanese ingredients. CHONMAGE JAPAN EXPO Overview This event is a festival hosted by 'CHONMAGE JAPAN' to share Japanese culture. Held for the first time this year, the festival will use the grounds of the historic Sumadera Temple as a stage, bringing together everything from traditional culture—such as ichigenkin (one-string zither), rakugo, and pottery—to contemporary culture like anime.
