Ichikawa City (Mayor: Ko Tanaka) has concluded an "Agreement on Information Gathering and Dissemination by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles during Disasters" with Marusok Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Hideki Nomura).

This agreement aims to contribute to ensuring the safety of citizens and prompt disaster response by utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) to assess damage, share information, and conduct surveys when a disaster occurs.

The signing ceremony for the agreement took place at Ichikawa City Hall, where Mayor Ko Tanaka and the Representative Director of Marusok Co., Ltd. signed the agreement.

Main Contents of the Agreement

Based on this agreement, Marusok Co., Ltd. will provide the following support:

・Survey and measurement of disaster damage using unmanned aerial vehicles ・Provision of aerial imagery information captured by unmanned aerial vehicles ・Cooperation in searching for disaster victims using unmanned aerial vehicles ・Joint collaborative training utilizing unmanned aerial vehicles in disaster drills, etc. ・Technical support and advice regarding the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles ・Cooperation in disseminating disaster information

This will strengthen the system for prompt situation assessment and information sharing during disasters. This agreement is expected to enhance Ichikawa City's information gathering system during disasters.
