Maruetsu Expands Food Drive Program to 133 Stores, Launching at Three Locations in Chuo Ward, Tokyo

Maruetsu Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaharu Honma; hereinafter 'the Company'), with the cooperation of Chuo Ward, will begin food drive activities at the Rinkos River City store, Maruetsu Kachidoki 6-chome store, and Maruetsu Harumi 3-chome store starting Wednesday, April 1st. This expansion brings the total number of the Company's stores conducting food drives to 133. Our food drive program involves collecting food donations that customers cannot finish at home and delivering them to facilities, organizations, children's cafeterias, and households in need through food bank organizations such as social welfare councils and NPOs, as well as local governments. To gain understanding and further support from our customers for the 'Food Drive' activities, we have permanently installed our original food donation boxes in our stores. The 267,309 items (as of February 2026) collected so far have been delivered to those in need through our partners.
