In October 2025, JW Marriott Hotel Tokyo (2-21-2 Takanawa, Minato-ku, Tokyo), which opened in the new "TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY" in Takanawa, Tokyo, will launch a limited-time pop-up bar, "KINOBI Room," for approximately six months starting from Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at its hidden bar "4-0-3" on the 30th floor of the hotel, where guests can experience the allure of "KINOBI," a premium craft gin from Kyoto.

"KINOBI," produced by Japan's first dedicated gin distillery, "Kyoto Distillery," is a unique Japanese craft gin that reflects the spirit of Kyoto, woven with the philosophy of "fusion of East and West." It features a delicate flavor created by a unique method, using 11 types of Japanese botanicals such as Kyoto-grown yuzu, gyokuro, and sansho, based on a rice spirit.

This pop-up will recreate the ambiance of "KINOBI House," KINOBI's brand home in Kyoto, within the hotel's 30th-floor bar "4-0-3." In a serene space where you can feel the atmosphere of Kyoto even in Tokyo, special seasonal cocktails infused with Japanese botanicals will be offered, with the menu changing every two months.

Furthermore, on Friday, June 26, a tasting seminar, usually held only at "KINOBI House" in Kyoto, will be specially held. On the same day, a cocktail event will also take place, where guests can enjoy limited cocktails specially devised for this occasion.

Details of the limited-time pop-up bar "KINOBI Room" are as follows:

Recreating Kyoto's Brand Home "KINOBI House" in Tokyo

The charm of "KINOBI House," a brand base where you can experience KINOBI's craft gin and craftsmanship, renovated from a Kyoto machiya (traditional townhouse) over 100 years old, will be recreated within the hotel's bar "4-0-3." You can enjoy KINOBI cocktails in a space adorned with a dry landscape garden motif display and Japanese-style lanterns.

Seasonal Cocktails with Flavors Changing Every Two Months

During the period, several seasonal cocktails incorporating seasonal elements will be offered, with the menu changing every two months.

The cocktails will use "KINOBI Kyoto Dry Gin," as well as "KINOBI TEA Kyoto Dry Gin," which uses gyokuro and tencha specially blended for KINOBI by Horii Shichimeien, a long-established tea garden in Uji, Kyoto, and "KINOBI SEI Kyoto Dry Gin," characterized by its robust flavor. In May and June, in line with the new tea season, three types of "tea" themed cocktails, including an original cocktail exclusive to this event, will be offered. Each 3,000 yen (tax and service charge included)

Various cocktails can also be enjoyed at JW Bar and JW Lounge.

KINOBI TEA MarTEAni

A Japanese martini using "KINOBI TEA," a special blend of gyokuro and tencha from Uji's "Okunoyama" tea garden. An elegant and profound drink where fragrant green tea and citrus elements harmonize.

KINOBI Matcha Tonic

The elegant bitterness and natural depth of matcha enhance the citrus aroma of KINOBI. A sophisticated gin and tonic where Japanese ingredients beautifully harmonize.

KINOBI SEIgloni

Based on the powerful and rich flavor of KINOBI SEI, herbal bitterness and sweetness are added. A smooth Negroni where the acidity of yuzu and the richness of milk harmonize. This is a limited-edition cocktail for this event.

Limited Seminar & Cocktail Event Featuring KINOBI Global Ambassador Masashi "Marcy" Sakuma

On Friday, June 26, a tasting seminar and cocktail event featuring KINOBI Global Ambassador Masashi "Marcy" Sakuma from "KINOBI House" will be held by reservation only.

The tasting seminar, starting at 18:30, is a valuable opportunity to individually taste the unblended original spirits that constitute "KINOBI," which are not generally available. The cocktail event, held from 19:30, will allow guests to enjoy limited cocktails specially devised for this day.
