UN3D., a brand operated by MARK STYLER Co., Ltd. (President: Masanori Akiyama, Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), is pleased to announce a bespoke model with the footwear brand "UNITED NUDE" as the second special project commemorating the brand's 10th anniversary.

Following the first collaboration with "COTTON RESEARCH CLUB," this project brings together two brands that share "structure" as a common language.

Architecture and Footwear: Crossing the Boundary

UNITED NUDE was founded in 2003 by Rem D. Koolhaas, who is also active as an architect. By viewing shoes as "buildings," the brand has established a unique presence by combining structural beauty with creative heel designs, hybrid forms, and stable comfort, achieving a high-level fusion of function and form.

"I design as if I am playing. While believing in the beauty created by simple forms, I sometimes restrain myself," says Koolhaas. His approach resonates deeply with the philosophy of UN3D., which combines experimentalism with rationality. His creative impulses, which lead him to wake up in the middle of the night to jot down ideas, reflect a stance of standing outside conventional wisdom.

Bespoke Model

This model is based on UNITED NUDE's new "Delta 3D Sandal." It is a latest-generation hybrid model that fuses elements of the "Rico Sandal" and "Delta Run," both of which were previously released as popular bespoke models for UN3D.

Featuring "functionality with stability enough to run in," a "minimal 3D upper design that blends into any styling," and a "sport sole structure that achieves both architectural and lightweight qualities," this model has been elevated to a special 10th-anniversary specification with UN3D.'s signature bold and sophisticated color palette. It is a pair that offers a sense of purpose while blending into daily life, characterized by color contrasts that highlight structural beauty and the tension between mode and sporty aesthetics.
