## Limitations of Paper Manuals and OJT in Foreign Talent Training
In industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and construction, hiring of foreign talent is increasing due to labor shortages, accelerating multinational site operations. However, much of field training still relies heavily on paper manuals and OJT. Issues such as 'failure to communicate despite instruction,' 'variances in understanding,' and 'inability to keep up with multilingual manual updates' are becoming apparent, making reproducible training difficult.

## Words and Text Alone Cannot Share 'Sensory Judgments'
Teaching work procedures alone is not enough for field training. In real-world sites, stable quality and safety can only be realized when the tacit knowledge held by senior employees—such as judging anomalies from changes in color, equipment vibrations, or sounds, or determining priorities based on multiple factors—is shared. Paper manuals and OJT often fail to convey these sensory judgment standards. For foreign talent, in particular, this can lead to variations in skill acquisition depending on language proficiency and past experience, and the risk that know-how becomes altered through chains of verbal communication.

## Toward Field Training that Conveys 'Tips' and Contextual Judgments via Video, Subtitles, and Automated Translation
In this seminar, we will explain how to use the video manual platform 'Tebiki Field Education' to share 'tips and tricks' (kankotsu) and situational judgments that could not be conveyed by traditional methods, thereby leading to safe and secure site operations. We will share points on realizing field training that is easily understood even in multilingual environments by visualizing the perspectives and movements of veteran workers, alongside the use of subtitles and automated translation features, while presenting actual case studies.
