Majisemi Inc. will hold a webinar on the theme of "Challenges of Existing SASE and Implementation Patterns for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises."

**■ Cloud Migration and Zero Trust Progress Drive SASE Adoption to SMEs** In recent years, with the expansion of cloud utilization and remote work, interest in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), based on Zero Trust, has been growing. While large corporations have primarily led its adoption, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are now also accelerating their efforts to achieve both enhanced security and operational efficiency. However, it is impractical for SMEs to directly implement complex and high-cost SASE solutions given their limited personnel and cost constraints. There is an urgent need for a "right-sized SASE" tailored for SMEs.

**■ High-Functionality, High-Cost SASE Disconnects from Field Operations** Existing SASE solutions, while highly functional, face adoption barriers due to license fees and configuration complexity. Especially for SMEs, there are many cases where existing VPNs must be used in parallel for the time being. Furthermore, many SASE solutions cannot fully address realistic operational requirements such as inter-site and inter-system communications. On the other hand, the risk of "Shadow IT" is high in SMEs, requiring prompt action. As a result, a significant gap has emerged between the "ideal security concept" and "mechanisms achievable in the field."

**■ Explaining SASE Implementation Patterns for SMEs, Including Coexistence with Existing VPNs and Identification of Shadow IT** This seminar will explain realistic SASE implementation patterns for SMEs, which involve gradually transitioning to Zero Trust while maintaining existing VPN networks and shared account operations. It will also introduce "KAMOME SASE," a solution that focuses on essential functions for SMEs to enhance security while curbing costs. Additionally, flexible configuration examples, such as supporting inter-site and inter-system communications, will be presented. The content aims to provide practical SASE operations that can be implemented "starting today" in the field, rather than just ideal theories.
