M&A Capital Partners Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Satoru Nakamura) is pleased to announce the launch of its new project, 'The Scene After M&A,' which is the first initiative in the M&A industry to interview employees of companies that have experienced M&A.

Currently, 'Post Merger Integration (PMI)' is an area of increasing importance in 'SME M&A.' This new project is the first of its kind in the M&A industry, providing an opportunity to convey the real-world situation after M&A, which is crucial for PMI.

What is 'The Scene After M&A'?

This content conveys the thoughts on M&A and the changes in the company after the deal, through interviews with employees of companies that have experienced M&A. While much M&A information is disseminated from a management perspective, this project focuses on individual employees working on the ground, providing a multifaceted introduction to the realities and changes after M&A.

We will carefully deliver the actual events occurring on the ground after M&A, such as changes in work environment and values, feelings of confusion, and positive sentiments, in the employees' own words.

First Installment: Minzoku Kogei Co., Ltd. (Share transfer to PINECONE Holdings Co., Ltd. in 2024)

Founded 50 years ago, Minzoku Kogei Co., Ltd. has delivered Shinto ritual tools to shrines nationwide from Nagasaki Prefecture. The company has built unique routes, such as delivering catalogs to over 10,000 shrines across Japan, and continues its business. In 2024, it joined the PINECONE Holdings Co., Ltd. group through a share transfer from its founding owner. However, not a single member of the company left, and organizational reform is currently being promoted under a new management structure centered around the president from before the group's integration. Regarding the thoughts and changes of people working at Minzoku Kogei Co., Ltd. after the M&A, two contents have been released: 'Interview with the New Management Team' and 'Employee Roundtable Discussion.'
