Delivery Ceremony for Medical MaaS Vehicle "MedaaS" Held in Gujo City

On Friday, March 27, 2026, a delivery ceremony for the "Medical MaaS Vehicle (MedaaS)" was held at the Gujo City Hall Disaster Prevention Center in Gifu Prefecture. In Gujo City, a mountainous region facing severe shortages of doctors and nurses and an aging population, the vehicle will officially begin operations based at Kokuho Shirotori Hospital, serving as a "mobile examination room" to deliver medical care to patients. The ceremony was attended by various stakeholders from government, medical institutions, universities, and automobile manufacturers, including Gujo City Mayor Hirotaka Yamakawa. Congratulatory messages were received from Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ryosei Akazawa and Gifu Prefecture Governor Yoshihide Ezaki, celebrating the new dawn of regional medical care.
