Yahoo! Auctions Partners with Luxury-Focused Marketplace "MOLTS" for Special Auction Event

LINE Yahoo Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "LINE Yahoo") and LINE NEXT Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "LINE NEXT") (*1) will hold a special auction (hereinafter referred to as "This Project") in collaboration between "Yahoo! Auctions," an auction service operated by LINE Yahoo, and "MOLTS," a luxury-focused marketplace operated by LINE NEXT.

In this project, luxury items such as hard-to-find luxury watches and brand-name bags will be listed on "Yahoo! Auctions" starting at 1 yen.

In recent years, the reuse market, especially for high-value luxury brand items and watches, has seen a growing demand for safety and security in transactions, as well as for high quality and fair prices.

"Yahoo! Auctions" has provided the enjoyment and convenience unique to its service through its overwhelming user base and auction mechanism.

Meanwhile, "MOLTS" has built its brand value as a specialized marketplace for affluent individuals and those interested in luxury.

By combining these two services, we will provide users with an opportunity to acquire rare items carefully selected by "MOLTS" and trusted through "Yahoo! Auctions" with peace of mind and at a satisfactory price. We will create the enjoyment unique to reuse, "the possibility of encountering one-of-a-kind items," through both services.

The items to be exhibited in this project will be provided by sales partners who have been vetted by "MOLTS" and have agreed to participate in this project: OKURA Inc., BuySell Technologies Inc., and Moonphase Co., Ltd. Furthermore, these are rare and highly valuable items carefully selected by "MOLTS." All items to be exhibited have undergone inspection and appraisal by "MOLTS's sales partners," allowing for more secure transactions. Additionally, all items will start at an auction price of 1 yen.

This project will be implemented in two phases: the first phase starting on Wednesday, July 15, and the second phase starting on Tuesday, July 28, with different items being offered in each. A total of 8 items are scheduled to be exhibited.
