LINE Yahoo Corporation (hereinafter referred to as LINE Yahoo) will hold "Summer Camp 2026," a practical workshop event for junior high and high school students aimed at fostering next-generation IT human resources, for four days from Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to Friday, July 31, 2026, at its Kioicho office. During this period, a variety of daily programs will be offered, including experiencing big data analysis and service planning, a media literacy course on how to identify fake news, and a creator experience and information ethics learning session through LINE sticker production.

This event is designed to provide opportunities to experience practical IT skills, not just to use and acquire knowledge of digital devices such as smartphones, by utilizing the summer vacation period, with the aim of improving the digital literacy of young people. Each workshop will be led by LINE Yahoo employees, who will provide hands-on programs utilizing their specialized knowledge for each theme. Through three workshops, including an experience of data analyst and planning roles utilizing visitor data analysis from the "Sumida River Fireworks Festival" in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, a course on how to properly identify fake news, and a program to deepen understanding of information ethics through LINE sticker production, learning opportunities will be provided to a total of 75 junior high and high school students.
