LINE MUSIC Corporation (hereinafter referred to as LINE MUSIC) has launched the K-pop global ranking "Global-K Chart," jointly developed with the Korean music streaming service "Melon," within the LINE MUSIC app starting Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Starting today, June 9th, we have launched "Global-K Chart" within the LINE MUSIC app. "Global-K Chart" is a global ranking that comprehensively shows the "worldwide popularity" of K-pop artists by linking major music platforms in Japan, South Korea, and China where K-pop listener support is active.

LINE MUSIC is the sole official platform in Japan reflected in the Global-K Chart, and fan activity indicators such as playback counts and listener numbers on LINE MUSIC are counted as contributions to the ranking.

Furthermore, on the same day, we released the "Global-K Chart" May TOP Artists, aggregated based on data from LINE MUSIC, Melon, and Tencent Music (TME). The first place was won by "aespa."

In the future, we will announce "Monthly Rankings" every month within the LINE MUSIC app and on official social media, as well as "Weekly Rankings" on official social media every week to deliver real-time trends. Additionally, we plan to present a special trophy to the artist who wins first place in the monthly rankings, and artist comments and commemorative photos will also be released sequentially on official social media and other platforms.

By reflecting plays and support on LINE MUSIC in the "Global-K Chart," we will provide users with a new experience to support their favorite artists through daily music listening.
