JR West SC Development Co., Ltd. (Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka / President: Yasushi Takenaka), which operates Lucua Osaka, a fashion building directly connected to Osaka Station, will hold an experiential tour titled "Otoboke Bushō Narikiri Tour in Okayama" on Saturday, June 6, 2026, set at Okayama Castle and Hayashibara Museum of Art.
This tour is the second installment of Lucua Osaka's "Narikiri Tours," a series of trips designed to allow participants to step away from their daily titles and roles and "become someone else" to co-star with the local community. Participants will challenge games full of "unusual rules" that require no historical knowledge whatsoever, and their attire, ranging from authentic armor to casual armor T-shirts, will be determined by their performance—a "status-based" expedition experience.
From an ○× quiz battle held in the private square in front of Okayama Castle's keep, to a special exhibition guided tour at the Hayashibara Museum of Art enjoyed in character costumes, a private night tour of the keep, and dinner at Korakuen Garden—this tour offers a "playful warrior experience for adults" where you can escape the daily demands of seeking correct answers, shed your titles, and immerse yourself in Okayama's historical space.
▶Highlights of this Tour
POINT①|No historical knowledge required. A quiz battle full of unusual rules.
What's needed is not knowledge, but the "spirit to become." You can enjoy quizzes that don't require knowledge, such as a quick-response quiz where you can only answer by shouting "Mōshiagemasu!" (I humbly report!), and an ○× battle in the private square in front of the keep.
*Outdoor programs may be held indoors or have their content changed depending on weather conditions.
POINT②|A "status-based expedition experience" with a chance for an upset, where roles and attire are determined by performance.
Your role and attire will be decided by the game results. Top performers will wear authentic armor, while those who don't do well will wear casual armor. But there might be a chance for an upset!? Because it's the Sengoku period, after all.
POINT③|Solo participants welcome. A trip where you can shed your titles and become "comrades-in-arms" even with strangers.
Staff members who planned the tour will accompany you as retainers (guides), creating a bond like "comrades-in-arms" by the time you return.

▶Planning Background
"Narikiri Tours" is an experiential tour project launched by Lucua Osaka in January 2026. By "becoming someone else" and immersing oneself in the local area, it proposes a new tourism experience that combines regional culture with playfulness, allowing participants to naturally experience local culture even without prior knowledge. Following the first installment, "Otoboke Ninja Narikiri Tour in Shiga," held in March, the second installment takes place in the authentic historical spaces of Okayama Castle and Hayashibara Museum of Art. In addition to a day trip, an accommodation plan is also available, and by setting the meeting place in Okayama, participants can enjoy their stay in Okayama at their own pace, including the time before and after the tour.
