To Commemorate the Release of 'Movie Chiikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island'! Character-Inspired Breads Debut at 'Chiikawa Bakery' in Tokyo and Osaka!

(Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Jyunichiro Uchikawa), will release character-inspired breads based on the upcoming film 'Movie Chiikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island' (nationwide release scheduled for Friday, July 24, 2026) at 'Chiikawa Bakery' and 'Chiikawa Bakery OSAKA' starting Friday, July 24, 2026.

Starting July 24, the bakeries will offer breads shaped like the characters wearing flower crowns, steamed buns filled with yakisoba, and sausage-filled 'bin-yoyo' breads. From Friday, September 18, spicy curry-filled 'Siren Bread' and a soft pull-apart bread featuring mermaids made from sandwich bread—perfect for meals—will also be available. Additionally, the popular matcha butter spread from 'Chiikawa Bakery' will be offered.

As a special promotion to celebrate the film's release, customers who order any takeaway drink will receive one random 'Original Movie Coaster (3 types)' per drink.

After watching 'Movie Chiikawa: The Secret of the Mermaid Island,' enjoy a special moment at 'Chiikawa Bakery' by picking up these creatively designed, adorable character breads and savoring the film's afterglow.

The long-awaited first film adaptation of 'Chiikawa,' the X-originated manga series created by illustrator Nagano.
