IT Rework Sendai Office Opens June 2026 to Support Mental Health Recovery and Job Return

Mental Health Lab Co., Ltd. opened the "IT Rework Sendai Office" in Aoba-ku, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture on June 1, 2026. This new facility combines independent training (life training) with rework support. It is designed to assist individuals who have taken a leave of absence or left their jobs due to mental health issues, providing a single location for support ranging from re-establishing daily rhythms to returning to work, finding new employment, and ensuring long-term retention. In Sendai, the largest economic zone in the Tohoku region, the support structure for those recovering from mental health challenges has not kept pace with the growing need. There is a particular lack of places for independent training to rebuild the foundations of daily life and interpersonal skills before focusing on employment. This facility uniquely offers both the lifestyle preparation phase and the employment preparation phase in one place. It features programs for life rhythms, physical strength, and interpersonal skills, rework support to prevent relapse, and ongoing accompaniment until job retention is achieved. The office is a 5-minute walk from JR Sendai Station and offers free facility tours and trial usage.
