LOFT Opens First Store in Shimane Prefecture! 'Izumo LOFT' Launches on September 17, 2026

LOFT Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Kimimoto Ando) will open 'Izumo LOFT' on Thursday, September 17, 2026, on the 2nd floor of the East Building of Yume Town Izumo (Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture / Operator: Izumi Co., Ltd.). This marks LOFT's first store in Shimane Prefecture, its 15th in the Chugoku region, and its 190th nationwide.

Yume Town Izumo has been operating since June 2008 and has been a long-standing favorite among locals as one of the largest commercial facilities in Shimane Prefecture. Located near National Route 9, the Izumo Bypass, and Prefectural Road 278, it attracts customers from a wide area. As a key shopping hub supporting daily life in Izumo City—the second most populous city in the prefecture—it features diverse specialty stores in fashion, dining, and services, serving a broad range of needs from daily shopping to leisure.

Since its founding, LOFT has embraced the concept of 'Toki (Time) as a Vessel,' positioning itself as a lifestyle goods producer that flexibly responds to social changes and proposes new ways of living. The store features a modern, single-floor layout designed for easy shopping, offering approximately 16,500 product varieties across four categories: stationery and lifestyle goods (7,900 items), health-related goods (6,000 items), variety goods (1,900 items), and household goods (700 items). The product lineup will include both seasonal 'Ichi' (market) and staple 'Kura' (warehouse) items. Commemorative opening merchandise and special purchase campaigns are planned for the launch period.
