The Takarazuka Revue Flower Troupe will hold a live viewing of their Grand Lament "Sogetsusho" (The Tale of the Pale Moon) -The Vow of the Heike's End- and the Spicy Show "EL DESEO" at movie theaters across the country, performed at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater (Tokyo) on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

"Sogetsusho" follows Taira no Tomomori, the final commander-in-chief of the Taira clan, as he carries the shadow of his father and reaches the end of his journey through vows and loss.

In the late Heian period, the Taira clan, once the most prosperous of the warrior families, commanded great glory in the capital under their leader, Taira no Kiyomori. The young warrior Taira no Tomomori, favored by his father, is raised alongside his younger brother Shigehira and cousin Noritsune as the future of the clan. Kiyomori's absolute trust and expectations instill a strong destiny in Tomomori: "Never betray your father." However, when Kiyomori falls ill, the Taira clan's influence begins to slip away like sand. Eventually, they reach the fateful land of Dan-no-ura.

Under the pale moon that waxes and wanes, this is a tale of the end where glory, pride, love, and farewells intersect.

The accompanying show, "EL DESEO," delivers a mysterious, energetic, and captivating experience featuring men and women who cannot stop their desires (EL DESEO)—whether for love, honor, or survival.
