Call for Entries Begins for the 13th Live2D Creative Awards, the Contest to Determine the World's Best Live2D! Until September 30 (Wed)

Live2D Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuya Nakajo; hereinafter 'Live2D'), a company whose business centers on the research and development of 'Live2D'—an expressive technology that adds three-dimensional animation to 2D illustrations—is accepting entries for the 13th annual 'Live2D Creative Awards' contest, which competes for the quality of original works using Live2D. The entry period runs from June 5 (Fri) to September 30 (Wed), 2026.

What is the Live2D Creative Awards?

This is an annual contest that competes for the quality of original works using Live2D.

It aims to provide an opportunity for creators to fully demonstrate their technical skills and creativity, discover new possibilities as creators, and challenge themselves to further dimensions of Live2D expression.

Works of any genre that use Live2D are eligible, including 'videos,' 'games,' 'characters/avatars,' and 'interfaces.'

We sincerely look forward to receiving works that embody your passion and skills.

Judging Criteria
- Whether the work expresses the characteristics and potential of Live2D and 2D works
- Whether the quality of the Live2D animation is at a high standard

Visual Expression Award: 1 winner (Prize money: 100,000 yen + Trophy)
For works that excel in animation visual beauty or utilize new Live2D expression techniques

Interactive Work Award (Games & Apps Category): 1 winner (Prize money: 100,000 yen + Trophy)
For works such as games or apps with high user interaction elements or user experience value

Interactive Work Award (AI & Conversational Interface Category): 1 winner (Prize money: 100,000 yen + Trophy)
For works that showcase the potential of Live2D as an interface for AI, conversational engines, etc. (artworks, tech demos, any format accepted)
