Notice of Application Deadline Extension for the "San ju San Bank Cup 14th Mie Prefecture Elementary School Teeball Championship"

The NPO Mie Lifelong Sports Association (Tsu City, Mie Prefecture; Chairman: Shohei Takeda) announces that the team application period for the "San ju San Bank Cup 14th Mie Prefecture Elementary School Teeball Championship" has been extended to Sunday, April 19, 2026. This tournament is held to promote baseball-type sports in Mie Prefecture and foster the sound development of youth. It provides an opportunity for children in the 1st to 4th grades of elementary school to experience the joy of sports and the pleasure of cooperating with peers. With the support and cooperation of San ju San Bank, Ltd. and many other stakeholders, the 14th edition of this tournament expects a maximum of 64 participating teams. As of April 6, 2026, 42 teams have already entered. The remaining slots are: 5 for the Toba Round, 13 for the Tsu Round, and 4 for the Kuwana Round. To provide opportunities for as many children as possible to play, we have decided to extend the application period. The tournament is open to all teams, regardless of the sport they usually play (rubber-baseball, hardball, softball) or their affiliated federation. We look forward to the participation of many teams. It is accessible and safe, making it an excellent introduction to baseball and softball. This tournament uses an all-batting, 3-inning system. A major feature of teeball is that it is easy to participate in, regardless of athletic experience. ● Features of this Tournament Qualifying rounds are held in three regions of the prefecture (Kuwana City, Tsu City, and Toba City).
