- Yasutaka Nukina (ぬきな やすたか) Managing Director, JIC Capital Co., Ltd.

Has 18 years of experience in the private equity industry. His primary areas of focus include materials, manufacturing & engineering, and decarbonization & circular economy. Prior to joining JIC Capital, he was involved in domestic and international buyouts, industry reorganizations, carve-outs, and growth capital investments at INCJ (formerly Innovation Network Corporation of Japan). Before that, he worked at Mitsui Yasuda Wajiro Maeda Law Office, Shearman & Sterling, Morgan Stanley Securities Investment Banking Division, and Advantage Partners, engaging in M&A, capital markets, and fund management.
He holds Japanese and New York State Bar qualifications. He is also a Certified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant. He graduated from Sophia University Faculty of Law, obtained a Master of Laws from the same university, and holds an LL.M. and J.D. from Columbia Law School. He serves as an outside director of Topcon Corporation.
