Grand Prize Winner Decided for "LINE Manga Webtoon Awards 2025" with a 10 Million Yen Prize and Guaranteed Serialization/Global Distribution!

LINE Digital Frontier Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masataka Takahashi) announced the final results of the "LINE Manga Webtoon Awards 2025," the largest manga award in "LINE Manga" history, on its e-comic service "LINE Manga" (https://manga.line.me/).

The final selection results for the "LINE Manga Webtoon Awards 2025," held from November 21, 2025 (Fri) to February 15, 2026 (Sun), were announced today, June 30, 2026 (Tue).

In addition to the judging by "LINE Manga WEBTOON STUDIO," a planning, production, and editing department for original webtoons and horizontal-scroll manga, this manga award featured five special judges: T.Jun, who handles the story for "Study Group"; yaongyi, creator of "True Beauty"; Akio Chinami, author of "The Fourth Husband"; Yuji Iwahara, creator of "Creatures - King of the Beasts, a Baby, and a Corpse Hero -"; and Yachiyo Okamura, the artist for "My Round Girlfriend and the Disappointing Boyfriend." After the first round of judging, reader voting was conducted, gathering a total of 88,831 votes, among other multi-faceted judging methods.

As a result, a total of 12 works were selected, including the Grand Prize winner.

The Grand Prize winner, Yomogimochi, author of "Frontline Marriage," will receive the highest prize money in "LINE Manga" award history, 10 million yen, as well as the serialization rights for "LINE Manga" and distribution rights on our group's global services.

In addition, all award winners will be assigned an editor from "LINE Manga WEBTOON STUDIO" to support their debut.

We were able to judge the works with a sense of new possibilities, having seen webtoon works across a diverse range of genres.

While romance fantasy and battle fantasy are currently dominant in the webtoon market, many submissions featured webtoon works created with novel themes.
