Lattice Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroshi Toritani; hereinafter: Lattice; Website: https://www.lattice.co.jp/) will host the "Manufacturing DX x 3D Seminar 2026" (hereinafter, "this event") on Friday, May 22, 2026, at JP Tower Hall & Conference (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).

At this event, with the theme of "Manufacturing DX x 3D in the AI Era," four companies — Aisin Corporation, Tokyo Electron Limited, Toyota Motor East Japan, Inc., and NSK Ltd., all of whom are proactively promoting production engineering DX, service DX, and 3D drawing DX — will introduce actual case studies of their manufacturing DX initiatives.

Furthermore, Lattice, as the organizer, will unveil for the first time at this event new initiatives combining the lightweight 3D format "XVL" with AI.

Presenting Companies (in alphabetical order)

### (Keynote Speech) Aisin Corporation Connecting production engineering information and the production floor digitally ~Production Preparation DX with original BOP incorporating XVL~

In the automotive industry, the advanced complexity of products and accelerated global expansion make the sophistication of production preparation a critical issue. This presentation will introduce initiatives to communicate production requirements in an easy-to-understand manner on the production floor by building an original BOP that centralizes production engineering information and incorporating XVL into it.

- How to clearly communicate design data in a usable format on the production floor is a crucial point in production engineering. - As a practical example of digital utilization connecting product design, process design, and the production floor, a concrete approach to production preparation DX and its on-site application will be explained.

### (Case Study Lecture) Tokyo Electron Limited Building an information distribution pipeline for field engineers ~Building a service parts search service utilizing 3D data~

Tokyo Electron has local subsidiaries and service stations in various countries, deploying field engineers (FEs) to provide advanced field engineering services to customers worldwide. While providing high-level services, high information security is also required. Since the design information of each device is at the core of this, a significant challenge was the information gap between design and FEs. Therefore, focusing on XVL's advanced 3D deformation technology, a mechanism was constructed to mask and deform highly confidential design information and distribute necessary information to the field. This contributes to improving FE efficiency and maintaining high quality for customers. This lecture will provide an overview of the background issues, the outline of the initiatives, challenges in promotion, and future prospects.

### (Case Study Lecture) Toyota Motor East Japan, Inc. Seamless flow of 3D data From design to factory utilization

- Utilization of 3DCAD data (WEB3D): Creation and utilization of 3D instruction drawings using XVL Web3D. - Utilization of 3D Dynamic Simulation (XDS): Aiming for early operationalization from planning to equipment operation by utilizing XDS in the development process of in-house equipment.

### (Case Study Lecture) NSK Ltd. Design and manufacturing collaboration through 3DA manufacturing drawings

We aim to shorten the production preparation period by transitioning from 2D drawings to 3DA manufacturing drawings and advancing digital data collaboration with production. XVL, a lightweight format, is adopted for the exchange of 3DA data with the production side, and by storing necessary production information in this XVL data, smooth data collaboration is achieved.

### (Organizer's Lecture) Lattice Technology Co., Ltd. Accelerating manufacturing DX with 3D x AI XVL pipeline democratizing 3D data utilization

AI's evolution knows no bounds. Now that it is commonplace to utilize AI trained on general-purpose data, it is essential to leverage unique data possessed by each company with AI to differentiate oneself. The manufacturing industry possesses 3D models and unique information linked to them. This presentation will introduce methods to accelerate field-driven DX by utilizing this 3D data with AI.
