The Executive Committee for the 43rd National Urban Greening Fair in Kyoto Tamba (Chairman: Takahiro Katsuragawa, Mayor of Kameoka) unveiled the third visual for the "43rd National Urban Greening Fair in Kyoto Tamba" (Nickname: Kyoto Tamba Midori no Sato Matsuri), which will be held in the Kyoto Tamba region (Kameoka City, Nantan City, and Kyotamba Town) starting Friday, September 18, 2026. The visual is based on the concept of "connecting to the town and the future through greenery," featuring a design that links the five event venues with the rich nature, people, and places of Kyoto Tamba, evoking anticipation for the vast venue and the opening. This new visual will be rolled out across various media, including posters, flyers, web, social media, and transit advertising, to foster an active desire for people both inside and outside the region to visit Kyoto Tamba. The "Kyoto Tamba" region, which serves as the stage for the fair, is a vast field spanning Kameoka City, Nantan City, and Kyotamba Town. The unique characteristics of the three municipalities intersect, making the entire Kyoto Tamba region one large fair venue. While traditional greening fairs have focused on a main venue, this fair treats the entire region as the venue, positioning parks and facilities in the two cities and one town as hubs for touring and sightseeing. By connecting these, the fair aims to allow visitors to experience and feel the charm of each region. We expect approximately 750,000 visitors from across the country during the 52-day period from September 18 to November 8, 2026. The third visual highlights the fair's unique strength: providing visitors with a unique experience value found only in Kyoto Tamba by connecting the five locations scattered across the three municipalities through "greenery." The visual adopts the illustration used in the wall art at JR Kameoka Station's "Nodokame Road." To visually convey the connection between nature, people, and places in Kyoto Tamba, the elements are arranged in a "ring" shape, carrying a message of the entire region harmonizing and connecting to the future.
