The full cast and performance details of 'Spring Come, Seriously Come,' which will be performed as part of the 'Opening Series' of the new theater 'Tokyo Kenzoku Pia Theater' inside the large-scale complex 'TOFROM YAESU TOWER' that opened on May 1, 2026, in front of Tokyo Station, have been decided.
This work is a stage adaptation of a youth novel by Shin Tadashi, the author of the NHK continuous TV novel 'Bugi Bugi,' which includes real stories. It vividly depicts the interactions between the protagonist, Takaoshi Ohyama, an aspiring scriptwriter who is not making progress, and the unique characters around him, using expressions unique to the stage.
We will deliver the youth story with stage-specific performances and live performances!
The script and direction are handled by Maggie, the leader of Jobijoba, who has been involved in numerous popular works in recent years, such as the seventh installment of KERA CROSS 'Sharp-san Flat-san' (direction) and Prime Video 'Laughing Man' (script).
Additionally, HONEBONE, who attracts attention with their edgy sound and heart-piercing messages, will be in charge of music and singing, coloring the mental landscape of young people who are not satisfied with their lives on stage, just like street musicians, with passion and sadness.
A luxurious and diverse cast has been decided to color the lead actor, Mizukawa Katamari!
Mizukawa Katamari from Kuuki Kaidan, who is making his long-awaited debut stage appearance in this work, will play the role of Takaoshi Ohyama, the protagonist who aspires to be a scriptwriter but lives a life similar to a freelancer. Expectations are high for how he will express Takaoshi, who is timid yet has high pride and is somehow lovable despite being a scumbag, with his unique acting skills as a unique comedian.
And for the characters who greatly shake up Takaoshi's life, a glamorous lineup with both ability and individuality has been assembled.
Asako Kawabuchi will play Asako, a straightforward female college student who finds her way of life through filmmaking. Sakurako, Asako's best friend who is active and teases Takaoshi sharply despite her guts, will be played by Sakurako Iwamoto from Nogizaka46, injecting fresh energy into the story.
The apartment roommates are a gathering of strong personalities. Nagahashi will play Shibata, a novelist who silently writes a super large work of 1500 pages in two years, while Higashi, a University of Tokyo graduate who aspires to be a film director but is naive and tends to stay in bed, will be played by Ryōhei Tōno from the theater group 'Jizō Chūdoku.' Teppei Udekiki will play Sugai, a comedian who clashes with Takaoshi honestly while fighting the 'courage to quit' comedy, creating a real and lovable daily life of four men.
Furthermore, Takamoto, a former friend of Takaoshi who has already risen to the majors as a genius film director, will be played by Niyoshi Tawada. Kyōya, a senior assistant director who is hot-blooded and a bit of a show-off but pulls along the juniors with a melancholic air, will be played by Yūya Miyashita from the theater group Kamomentaru, bringing depth and laughter to the work. And Yukiko, Takaoshi's ex-girlfriend who has been clinging to a promise made nine years ago at an amusement park, will be played by Kaori Katō, gently wrapping the story.
A bittersweet youth ensemble drama depicting the reality of young people who cling to their dreams, sometimes give up, and wait for their own 'spring.' Look forward to how Maggie's skills and the luxurious cast will envelop the theater with what kind of heat—an amusing yet lovable story of them.

Original Work: Shin Tadashi
'Spring Come, Seriously Come' is a novel that I have depicted the meanness of men, or rather, myself, to the fullest extent.
It's a mean story like a booger, so I thought it would be a story to watch on a smartphone if it were to be visualized.
For some reason, such a story has become a play in a large theater.
I am very anxious about how far this mean story will be conveyed in a large theater, but since Mizukawa Katamari and Maggie, among others, are wonderful people, I think my anxiety is nothing more than a booger. I am very much looking forward to it.
Script & Direction: Maggie
New theater 'Opening Series'! It is an honor to be at the forefront of the stage where many masterpieces will be born in the future. Like a child running around in the snow where no one's footprints remain, I want to enjoy myself to the fullest in a new playground with new friends.
I want to elevate the beauty of the clumsy passion of the youth who are as awkward as they are embarrassing, and the lovable foolishness that is as ridiculous as it is foolish, which is possessed by Shin Tadashi's novel 'Spring Come, Seriously Come,' as a play, and make the full house of the new theater resonate with laughter and applause of emotion!
Lead Role: Takaoshi Ohyama: Mizukawa Katamari (Kuuki Kaidan)
I will be making my debut stage appearance for the first time.
It is an honor beyond my means.
But I don't understand left or right.
I think it's better to bring snacks to the site, right?
Which is better, sweet or salty?
Since everyone has their own preferences, is it better to bring both?
How about black bean rice crackers and small-sized yokan?
Wait a minute.
I think it will be quite a lot if it's both.
Is it okay to bring so much?
Is it okay?
I don't understand left or right, but I will do my best, so please come and watch.
