Rising singer-songwriter Yuuya Egashira releases new track 'Detarame Rody' on July 1 (Wed)! LIVE TOUR 2026 'Intro' also announced!

The highly anticipated new song "Detarame Rody" by Yuuya Egashira (江頭勇哉), the breakout singer-songwriter renowned for his powerful vocals and expressive performances, will be released digitally starting July 1 (Wed).

Originally written and composed by Egashira as the theme song for the popular YouTube channel "Saga Yoka Deshou."—a channel he has long been affiliated with—this track is now receiving a full professional recording. For fans of the YouTube channel, this release has been long awaited.

Yuuya Egashira LIVE TOUR 2026 'Intro' announced!

Last year, on November 23 (Sun), Egashira held his debut solo concert 'Intro' at Nishitetsu Hall Fukuoka. The one-night-only performance delivered an astonishingly high-level show, captivating fans and proving far beyond what one might expect from a first solo concert.

Almost a year later, it has now been announced that the 'Intro' tour will expand to two cities in 2026: Kanagawa (Kawasaki) and Osaka. The band lineup will once again feature the same eight-member all-star ensemble from the previous show. Since the first concert was limited to Fukuoka, this tour presents an unmissable opportunity for fans across Japan.

I held my 2025 concert 'Intro' with the determination of taking a new step forward.

The title carries the meaning of 'the beginning of a new story.'

I'm truly happy that we'll now be able to bring this opening chapter to audiences in Kanagawa and Osaka as well!

A rising singer-songwriter known for his dynamic voice and instantly memorable melodies that stay with listeners. He continues to be based in his hometown of Saga.

In 2013, he won the grand prize at 'FUKUOKA MUSIC FACTORY 2013,' a joint new artist discovery project by Fukuoka's music industry. The following year, in 2014, he released his first mini-album 'Umbrella' nationwide.

In 2016, he began activities as a YouTuber under the name '1DAY1FISH Tsuri Bakka I,' and gained widespread fame for composing the theme song for the hugely popular fishing YouTube channel 'Tsuribaka Deshou.'. The song became a hit, significantly boosting his profile.

From 2021 to 2023, his songs 'Mitururi,' 'Ponkotsu,' and 'Ivory' were consecutively selected as the ending theme for Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV's 'Jouhou Live Miyaneya.'

He has also begun acting, making his film debut in 2022 in 'Itsuka, Itsumo... Itsumademo.' directed by Shunichi Nagasaki. Since then, he has appeared in TV dramas such as 'Aibou' and the drama special 'Totto no Ketsuraku Seishun-ki.'

On November 23, 2025 (Sun), he held his debut solo concert 'Intro.'

On July 1, 2026 (Wed), he will release his new song 'Detarame Rody' (theme song for 'Saga Yoka Deshou.'). The LIVE TOUR 2026 'Intro' is scheduled for September 7 (Mon)–8 (Tue) in Kanagawa (Kawasaki) and Osaka. (Tickets on sale now)
