Harmony Cafe, a cafe & private salon in Kotobuki-cho, Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, operated by Harmony Farm G.K., will hold a "Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival Kimono Dressing & Preparation Station" where you can consult about kimono dressing and rentals, coinciding with the Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival to be held on July 25, 2026 (Sat).

Harmony Cafe is a cafe & salon for women with childcare services, located about a 5-minute walk from Kuwana Station. It usually offers consultations for postpartum care, femcare, facials, and body care, and the first-floor cafe aims to be a place where local residents can easily drop by.

This event is a fully reservation-based, small-group kimono dressing plan for those who "want to wear a kimono but are a little unsure about dressing themselves," "want to prepare leisurely near the station before the fireworks festival," or "want to create summer memories with their children."

Congestion is expected around Kuwana Station and towards the venue on the day of the Kuwana Suigo Fireworks Festival.

Harmony Cafe will guide each group individually from around 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM to allow for calm kimono preparation.

Before and after dressing, you can relax with a drink in the first-floor cafe space. There is also a kids' space, so those with children or those who want to enjoy kimonos with their children can consult in advance.

A selection of rental kimonos available for consultation at Harmony Cafe.

Rental kimonos include a white kimono with a black sunflower pattern, a gorgeous kimono with a black base and red obi, an elegant navy kimono, and a gentle mustard-colored floral pattern kimono, among others.

Photos and numbers of the kimonos are posted on the special page. If you are interested in a particular kimono, please inquire on the official LINE, stating the number, such as "I would like to consult about the No. 01 kimono."

*The number and sizes of kimonos are limited. *The obi combination will be suggested by Harmony Cafe based on the situation on the day. *Geta/zori and hair accessories are not included.

*We do not accept dressing reservations for children alone. *This will be handled as a parent-child use and consultation when you visit with your guardian.

This kimono dressing service will be provided by a friend of the owner, KEIKO, who is an experienced woman that has been studying kimono and yukata dressing at a dressing school for over 30 years since she was 19 years old.

She will provide careful guidance in a small-group setting, aiming for dressing that is not too tight, for those who want to wear a kimono but are hesitant to dress themselves, and for those who want to go out looking beautiful on the day of the fireworks festival.

*Professional hair styling is not included. *The number of available slots may be limited due to the availability of the dressing staff.

Luggage storage available after dressing

Luggage that is no longer needed after dressing can be stored, with pickup required by 9:30 PM on the same day.

We cannot store valuables, fragile items, or high-value items. Please be sure to carry your own valuables such as wallets, smartphones, and keys.
