Harmony Farm LLC (Representative: KEIKO), which operates "Harmony Cafe & Private Salon" in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, is taking on the dream of creating a "multi-generational co-living space." This space aims to bring together postpartum mothers struggling with loneliness, children who refuse to attend school, and elderly people seeking connection with society, all while carrying on the spirit of the "farm" that has been protected by our ancestors for generations.

The one and only reason we named it a "Farm" despite being a salon Although our company, established in January 2025, operates a cafe and a fem-care salon near Kuwana Station, we named it "Harmony Farm." This name carries my personal, yet absolutely unshakable, earnest desire.

My family home was a farm that had been passed down for generations. Currently, my younger brother is protecting that land alone, but due to changes in health and the tides of time, we are facing a situation where it is difficult to maintain the farmland as we have in the past. However, at an age where I am seeing the faces of my grandchildren, I no longer have the physical strength to take over full-scale farming.

"Even if I cannot till the soil myself, is there another way to protect the spirit of this 'farm' and pass it on to the future?"

That thought led me to the launch of "Harmony Cafe & Private Salon," which heals local women and nurtures their health. Instead of growing vegetables, I am nurturing the smiles of mothers who will create the future, and the smiles of local people. That is my way of protecting the "farm," and it is a new challenge to which I have dedicated the second half of my life.

A "Salon with a Grandma" to save lonely mothers While listening to customers' stories at the cafe, I learned that a great many mothers are suffering from "lonely parenting" and "postpartum physical ailments that they cannot tell anyone about."

I want to embrace these women, who are pushing themselves to the limit, just like a mother or a grandmother would. With that desire, I renovated the second floor of our shop in March 2026 and opened a salon where you can receive fem-care just by sitting down, without needing to change clothes. While mothers care for their own bodies, "Grandma" looks after their babies on the first floor—a place where they can drop in without worrying about anyone's eyes.

My ultimate goal: A "Traditional House x Agriculture" free school However, my dream does not end here. As a former teacher, I have over 20 years of experience involved in learning support for local children who refuse to attend school or are considered delinquent.

Currently, while the number of children who refuse to attend school continues to rise, there is an overwhelming shortage of "places other than school" where they can spend their time with peace of mind. That is why, as my ultimate dream, I am seriously considering utilizing the "Kamifukaya traditional house and farmland" that my brother has protected, to create a multi-generational exchange hub that combines an agricultural experience-based free school and a community salon for the elderly.

Children who refuse to attend school can regain their spirit by touching the soil, and healthy elderly people can play an active role as guardians. Creating such a "second home where multiple generations coexist" is the culmination of my life. There are many walls to overcome, such as funding and legal regulations regarding urbanization control areas, but I will definitely make it happen.

"No matter how old you are, people can dream and become a place where someone belongs."

By showing the backs of us in the senior generation as we continue to take on challenges with energy, we will spread a warm circle of hope from Kuwana to all of Japan.
