We have discovered the pioneer transcription factors 'FOXF1/2' that play a crucial role in the mechanism by which senescent cells induce chronic inflammation. This finding represents a significant breakthrough in understanding and controlling age-related chronic inflammation. Chronic inflammation is a major contributor to many age-related diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. By identifying FOXF1/2 as a key regulator, we open up potential new therapeutic strategies to combat these conditions. Further research will focus on developing interventions that target FOXF1/2 to modulate inflammatory responses and promote healthier aging.
