[Synergy of Printing × Logistics] Koyosha Fully Launches Logistics Business at Hanno Printing Center BASE

Integrated printing company Koyosha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Ryota Inukai, hereinafter "Koyosha") announces the full-scale launch of its logistics business at its production base, "Hanno Printing Center BASE," in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, having acquired a warehousing license based on the Warehousing Business Act.

This initiative realizes "Sustainable Logistics," which integrates eco-friendly printing, storage, material management, and shipping all within the same facility, thereby strongly supporting our customers in reducing GHG emissions and improving operational efficiency across their supply chains.


■ Background and Purpose
With the DX transformation of print ordering and the expansion of the e-commerce market, there is an increasing demand for higher speed and environmental compatibility in the management and delivery of printed materials and promotional supplies. Koyosha has operated the Hanno Printing Center BASE as a next-generation printing hub, running "24 hours a day, 365 days a year" and using "virtually 100% renewable energy."

By newly acquiring a warehousing license and entering the logistics business, Koyosha integrates its traditional "production (printing)" function with "storage and transportation (logistics)." This allows for direct storage and shipping of products immediately after printing, reducing transportation costs and emissions.

Hanno Printing Center BASE is a factory powered by carbon-free energy, utilizing solar power generation and renewable electricity. By performing printing and shipping from the same location, truck movements (short-haul transportation) from the factory to logistics warehouses are reduced, contributing to a lower carbon footprint throughout the product lifecycle.

2. One-Stop System Unique to a Printing Company
Koyosha undertakes everything from printing promotional materials and catalogs to inventory management, kitting (distribution processing), and individual delivery, all under one roof. Centralizing the point of contact reduces customer management effort and shortens lead times.
